When I drank it with hot water, the aroma was so strong that I could smell it for a while. I like sweetpotato shochu, but I don't like barley shochu, and I had avoided drinking it with hot water because of its aroma, but I followed the brewery's recommendation. But I tried it according to the brewery's recommendation. I personally think it has a refreshing aroma that is not too assertive, unlike the barley shochu I have had so far. I like it with heated sake or shochu with hot water. I am happy.
