It has been a while since I purchased a new sake. It is a variant of the Hanazono Shuzo Roman series, which I have been curious about for a while. I decided to try Toroman.
When the bottle is opened, the elegant, understated aroma is irresistible. The moment it hits the palate, it tastes more like banana than rice-derived sweetness. It is fruity and easy to drink, and on top of that, it is a delicious sake with a strong alcohol taste. It is more suitable for evening drinking than as a mealtime sake. I prefer to savor the robust flavor of Gohyakumangoku sake.
