What we drank at Xmas
Ganki Junmai Happo-Nigori!
I was warned to be careful about spilling the bottle, but it opened easily 🤣!
When I opened it, it looked like a snowy landscape ⛄💖 with some oriki mixed in.
It's so soft and smooth!
I poured it into a champagne glass, but the aroma is lightly lactic.
When I drank it...
Surprisingly sweet 😳!
I've had a few sushwashy types, but this might be the sweetest I've ever tasted!
Of course, the sizzle is also strong.
Maybe it's because it has a high alcohol content.
It's the most like champagne I've ever had!
It's the most like champagne I've ever had! 🫧✨
The acidity and bitterness aren't overpowering either, so this is great for newcomers to sake! 💕
It goes well with chicken and the pairing was too successful 🤤💖.
Even my husband who doesn't like the shwashy type.
This is delicious. He loved it!
I was most surprised that he had to have another one.
I love the fact that Ganki can serve this level of food all year round.
Of course I'll have this for Christmas next year too! I thought.
I'd love to drink it on a hot summer day too 🥰.

Hi na2😃.
We got the same one at the opening of the nigori festival too 😋 This is a great bottle for a toast 🥂 👍 It's certainly good for hot weather too‼️.
