It's thick and delicious! But it is refreshing. It is difficult to describe, but it is a delicious sake. It starts with a faint melon scent, and then it has a salivating umami full of dense amino acids, and a sweetness that is not too dense. Within the umami, there is a combination of various flavors including fruitiness. It also has a sharpness that is typical of honjozo, and finishes with a smooth finish. This is a unique sake that can't be found anywhere else.
