It is light and dry on the palate, yet refreshing and pleasant to drink. Because of its dryness, it is probably best paired with food, but it is also refreshing enough to be drunk on its own. Seafood is probably the best dish to pair it with, but it is also an excellent all-around sake that can be easily matched with other dishes as well.
