Harujion, a seasonal sake for early summer by Koei Kiku, which I have not had in a while.
I had it last year, and it is as delicious as ever this year!
Koueikiku's sake has gradually developed a different taste depending on the brand, and this sake is characterized by its fruity, lychee-like taste.
In the past, I felt that Koeikiku was characterized by its acidity or its sizzle, but it is good that it is not just that.
The acidity is there, but it is not that strong. Rather, the umami comes to the forefront and, due in part to the low alcohol content, you can guzzle it like a juice.
I like the freshness of it because it is summery.
Is Sunburst coming next? I am looking forward to it.
