Hirado, Nagasaki. Fukuda Sake Brewery Co.
Fukkai Omachi Nama Sake
I bought this sake at a sake shop tour after the Ougimachi Park event, as it was not available at any sake shop in my area.
There were too many varieties to choose from, so I asked the clerk and decided on Yumachi.
Fukuda Sake Brewery is located in Hirado City, Nagasaki Prefecture, and is the westernmost brewery in Japan.
We had it cold.
I was careful to open the bottle with caution, but the bottle opened easily with only a small, short gasp.
The color is clear and almost colorless.
The top aroma is fresh and muscat-like.
The palate is lush, fresh, and transparent with a hint of sweet acidity.
It flows lightly into the mouth, and the sweet and sour taste is felt on the tongue, followed by the umami of Omachi-like flavor. However, for my taste, the bitterness of the aftertaste is more pronounced.
It matches the concept of expressing the beautiful sea of Hirado with sake.

Other values on the internet were as follows.

Hi Nemuchi 😃
Fukkai-san! We went for the Yamada Nishiki raw 🤗I'd like to drink it alongside Jay family roots, Fukkai-san from Hirado ‼️ Hiran 😋.

Hi Jay & Nobby, you drank both Fukkai and Fukuda 😊I chose Omachi, but I think Yamada Nishiki would have been better... The grass is greener next door 😁Nagasaki sake is also getting more modern like Hiran 😄.
