Freshly pressed sake that was reserved at Sugihara Sake Brewery's retail store, Tomikuya, has arrived.
Unfortunately, I couldn't drink it right away because I was traveling ✈️ from the next day, so I had to leave it at home.
I was looking forward to opening the bottle.
At the store, I was told that the yeast used for sake brewing ^_^ is made from frozen yeast.
It is a little cloudy.
It has a rich sweet flavor, but it is also refreshingly juicy and has a bitter aftertaste. I know some people might find this sweetness to be a bit of a turn-off.
It is a sweetness that does not interfere with the food.
It is a delicious sake that is perfect for a mealtime drink.
