I don't usually have a sense of how sweet or spicy sake is, but sweet is a good description for this one. It does not have a sake-like taste, so it is perfect for those who like sweet sake!
It is slightly sparkling and has a very strong flavor, so it would go well with a hearty snack.
It was a good match for the beef stew I made the day before yesterday. It would also be good with stewed motsu (pork cutlet).
