The other day I received a wooden box of Daiginjo Genzai from Suehiro Shuzo from a senior colleague whom I hadn't seen in 10 years.
I had no more chilled sake in my refrigerator at home, and it said I could drink this at room temperature, so I opened the bottle straight away!
I had been drinking only junmai-type sake recently, so I was a little hesitant to drink a ginjo-shu with brewing alcohol.
It was a refined, high-quality ginjo-shu that shattered my prejudice!
I can enjoy the mouthfeel and aroma even at room temperature, so I'm sure it would be great as a cold sake! I recommend it.
I will drink this sake in small sips from now on!
