We stopped by on the way to Ureshino Onsen.
It is said that the goddess is enshrined as the god of water and is believed to bring blessings for family safety and traffic safety.
We bought a bottle of Iwanokura at a liquor store near the prefectural government office.
It is a Kyushu-only distribution of Tenzan Shuzo, the company that makes Shichida.
It has a subtle sweet aroma and a sweetness that is somewhere between ricey and fruity, and when I drank it, I felt it had a balanced taste.
I had it with some nori tsukudani (seaweed boiled down in soy sauce) that I bought at the local JF and felt the Saga flavor.
