It is a bit thick and dark in color, as is typical of Junmai. When I put it in my mouth, I thought it was sweet! I thought it was sweet when I put it in my mouth, but when I drank it down, I felt it was crisp and clean.
I enjoyed it with fried yellowtail kama (yellow tail) as a side dish, but I think it would be better to serve it with a drier sake to wash away the fat.
