Banshu Ikkyo's R5BY National New Sake Competition
The sake was actually already awarded the gold medal because the competition was held in May, but
The aroma is capechi type and gorgeous.
Not much sweetness or acidity, so it doesn't have an apple taste.
The taste is sweet from the alcohol, but it only lasts for a moment and quickly fades away.
Personally, I would classify the taste as fruity...not fruity, but modern dry.
It is clean and tasteless, with a smooth mouthfeel and a nice sharp aftertaste.
As expected of a gold medal-winning sake, this sake is a model of daiginjo!
