Roman純米吟醸 一回火入れ
kiko
It's been a while since I've had a sake from Fukushima, Loman from Minamiaizu Town. It is a popular brand, but this is my first time.
The rice, water, and yeast are all locally produced. The first sip has a fruity flavor reminiscent of melon and peach. It is very gentle and goes down smoothly. The lingering taste is slightly bitter and slightly dry. It is a dangerous type of sake that can be drunk easily. As one would expect from a sake made in Fukushima, one can sense the high level of quality.
