The first bottle opened this year is Takeba's "Active Nigori Sake", an annual tradition.
At first, it was just as it was. It is slightly effervescent, but does not have the unpleasant tanginess of last year's sake, and the flavor is clean and delicious.
Then, it was shaken and stirred. The taste is even better with a thicker mouthfeel.
