I was on a business trip to Tochigi and was able to stop by the Mekada Sake Shop, so I purchased it and opened it at home. Since I had not tried any sake from Toyama Prefecture, I chose Haneya, which has a good reputation at Sake-no-wa. Immediately after opening the bottle, I had it cold, which seemed to be the most delicious way to drink it.
It is a junmai daiginjo, so the aroma is gorgeous, and the mouthfeel is sweet and easy to sip. The aftertaste is sweet and umami, with a hint of bitterness. I drank it as an aperitif without a side dish, but drank half of the bottle before dinner was served.

Whenever I have time on a business trip, I stop by Megada Sake Shop, but I tend to linger there because they have not only Tochigi sake, but also Tasake, Kido, etc. I tend to get lost in the store. At that time, they also had Kaze no Mori, so I was really lost. It is a luxurious problem, isn't it?
