A souvenir from my wife and son's trip to Kansai the weekend before last.
One of a set of five bottles of Kinki sake.
It has a picture of Hozugawa River rafting.
I like Arashiyama area (walking to Okusaga) one of my favorite areas in Kyoto, but I have not yet explored Hozu river rafting and trolley train. 😅
This summer, it's a trend in my family to eat vegetables fried without any sauce, dipped in mentsuyu & grated ginger, and chilled to soak up the flavors.
Today we had Manganji Togarashi from Kyoto, which I was curious about, and Kagura Nanban and Maitake Mushrooms from Niigata.
The sake was a classic sake, with a strong flavor and acidity.

Was it Ane-san's local sake: ❗️
It says the brewery has a history of over 300 years since the Edo period, Genroku era👍.
I would love to go on the Hozugawa river cruise someday👍
