After a long absence, we went to the brewery of YAMANASHI MEISAKU in Hokuto City.
This is one of the "Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove" series, which is a series of limited-edition sake from the brewery.
I will be receiving the fourth one following "Xiang Shu", "Ruan Xuan", and "Liu Ming".
The sweetness is quite rich, and the umami and acidity complement it.
It is good as an aperitif.
It is also good as an aperitif, or as a small sip during a meal.
It seems to go well with fatty snacks.
