This sake is said to have been drunk in the springtime during the Edo period (1603-1867).
In addition to rice and koji, mirin (sweet cooking rice wine) is added, making it very sweet.
It looks like amazake, but has a stronger sweetness.
It is a sake that makes one feel like spring.
