Takashi
I have a line registered with Nosaku, a tin company in Toyama, and occasionally get messages from them. I happened to see a message that said, "October 1 is Sake Day, and we recommend a set of hiyaroshi (Japanese sake) and a set of utensils.
Since I was in the mood, I decided to have hiyaoroshi with Nosaku's sake cups. (Not that I bought it this time, but...)
Tamagawa hiyaoroshi
It was served cold, as it is from a sake that needs to be kept cold.
It is refreshing, but has a lot of flavor. It lingers on the tongue and passes through the nose. There is no sweetness, but a slight sourness.
It is not so much a smooth ride, but more of a taste sensation.
However, if you drink it with a Nosaku tin cup, the taste changes a little, so it may give a different impression if you drink it with other containers.
This Toji is a gaijin!
