I went to my husband's parents' house to greet him on New Year's Day, and one of the bottles I opened at that time was a bottle of kafuda-shu.
It is said to be "light fresh" but since it was made in September and opened on New Year's Day, the freshness may have been lost 😅.
The aroma is white peachy with a hint of rice, and the light sweetness is refreshing.
I can see why they call it "light", the sweetness is more restrained than other packaged sake, which seems to make it more compatible with meals.
Goes well with oysters from my parents' house in Miyagi😍❤️
My husband, father-in-law, and I quickly emptied the bottle 😁💦.
