Finally obtained a bottle of Natsu-no-shippu, a well-known summer sake. From the aroma, it has a pleasant rice sweetness. The palate is fresh and gently sweet, and it disappears crisply in the mouth while remaining light and refreshing.
I was surprised by its lightness, which I would not have expected from a junmai ginjo. It is good as a summer sake as it is, but it might be good to let it sit for a while.
