At the Japanese Sake Information Center in Toranomon, we compared aged sake and kijoshu. From left to right: Mature Rouko Daiginjo 10 years old, Kidoizumi Junmai 5 years old, Hanahato Kijoshu 8 years old, Manjusen Kijoshu aged in oak barrels. My favorite of the day was the Manjusen. The aroma is very sweet, but not at all heavy. The final refreshing oak aroma that lingers in the nose is also very nice.

Good evening, screaming butterflies. The lineup of aged sake drinkers is too nice. I was impressed with the Manjusen oak barrel aged sake at the event, but the Kijo sake must be even better 😋.

Hi Hirupeko, one of your reviewers said she ate vanilla ice cream with this kijoshu on it, sounds delicious😍.
