Purple label raw.
I had tried Nabeshima before and thought I didn't like the green fire-brewed version, but I thought it would be good if it was a Jungin of Yamada-Nishiki, and even better if it was a draft! So I bought it.
And as it turned out, it did not suit my palate again lol.
I can't describe it well, but it lacks the jerseyiness of the aroma when it enters the mouth, or the fullness of the flavor....
I guess there is a big gap between the fruity or sweet taste and the taste I had imagined based on the word-of-mouth.
It certainly has a fruity ginjo aroma and sweetness, but overall it was a refreshing sake.
It's really a matter of taste, and I can kind of understand why it's so popular.
