I went on a trip to Fukui Prefecture a few years ago, and this was my personal No. 1 brand that year.

On the palate, there is a unique flavor that is a combination of smoky and vanilla-like aromas.
Then, there is a firm, thick rice flavor and acidity.
The acidity is quite strong.
The sweetness is not so strong.
Bitterness can be felt from the mid-palate.
The lingering aftertaste is a bit long with umami and acidity.
Unique.
Layered flavor with a hint of Yamahai and Namahashimoto.
When heated, it softens but remains smoky.
Suitable for sipping with oil sardine late at night.
