The event will compare four different types of junmai ginjo and special junmai sake, each of which is a pure ginjo and a special junmai sake, both raw and fire-brewed, from Saka Shuzo, the oldest sake brewery in Saga Prefecture, which changed its name from "Sado no Ume Shuzo," which is located in Kubota-cho, Saga City.
The special junmai sake is suitable for drinking in mid-summer. It has moderate acidity and a robust flavor. It is like drinking white wine and goes well with stewed dishes such as pasta with tomato sauce and tripe.
