Tonight we had #Sawanoi Okunote Jungin Unfiltered Nama Sake Sasanigori from Ozawa Shuzo in Ome City, Tokyo. It is an aged version from a year ago, but it does not have a matured feel and has a freshness to it. The sweetness was kept to a level that makes it easy to drink at this time of year, and it is not the usual sweet and sour nigori, but rather a refreshing drink.
Okunote" means "special" in Japanese.
