The aroma is reminiscent of banana...maybe a little semedyne? This is enough to imagine that it's probably a umami type sake. When you put it in your mouth, it is tangy, and the umami spreads with the juicy acidity of citrus. At the end, you feel a little bit of alcohol and it kicks off with a bitter taste. There is no hardness, and it is light to drink for the alcohol content, so I found myself drinking more and more and getting drunk quickly. As for the first day, it is so fresh and juicy that it can be enjoyed on its own. On the second day, the acidity is pretty much gone and you can feel the sweetness strongly. I wonder if I could have kept the acidity for a few more days if I drank it right after I bought it. I thought it would be a more aggressive sake, but it's a straightforward and very tasty Junmai Namaishu.
