The rice used is Yumeko (from Fukushima Prefecture) and Yamadanishiki (from Okayama Prefecture). It's a "drunken whale" I've never seen before. ❗️ when I bought it. I bought it thinking it was a "Mt. Nagurayama" (⁉️) I didn't notice it until I was about to open the bottle. But still, why a whale ⁉️ for Aizu sake? It is a refreshing and well-balanced summer sake with little acidity and bitterness.
