Unusually at an izakaya.
This sake is made by Fukuoka's Kanbokuto Sake Brewery. You may not see it very often outside Fukuoka Prefecture.
Cold sake.
It has a very smooth and calm taste. There is no acidity, and a hint of sweetness and umami spreads through the mouth.
Medium in length, medium in mouthfeel. The aftertaste is normal.
Even sake beginners will enjoy its gentle taste.
