I had a glass of it with some simmered kinmedai (sea bream) that my wife cooked for me. It is good lukewarm, but it was also delicious at room temperature. It was the first time for me to drink a sake made from Yamada-Nishiki, which is a special grade A sake, and it was very mellow and full-bodied.
