Recently, I have finally become aware of the type of rice used. However, this is the first time for me to drink Ipponshime.
I bought it at the last supermarket I stopped by on my trip to Niigata.
The bus driver who took care of us was in the refrigerated section of the sake section of the store and said, "Oh, this is already available! I'll buy one too!" I said, "Well, I'll buy one too," and we got in line at the cash register together.
It was fresh and crisp, with a rich sweetness, but not sticky. It is not sticky, and it doesn't make me sick. It's not a "light" type, but I like it a lot. I am glad I bought this one!
The sparkling red label with Kanji Takachyo and the barcode in the shape of the bottle are also very particular.
