Good sashimi is good. Bonito and aji alone make me happy. The bonito in the early spring has a hint of fat and umami taste that makes you feel the season. I served it with a bottle of Minami no Nama-zake. When it comes to spicy sake, Minami is the place to go. It is a fresh sake with a very soft aroma, perhaps because the yeast is different from usual. It is a Masu sake with nothing to be happy about. The wooden aroma is also delicious.
