Shimane Sake (2)
At the Tamatsukuri Onsen inn, I chose this from the sake menu. There are two types of Li Bai, and I chose the "refreshing and elegant" one instead of the "dry and crisp" one. As I prefer soft and reserved, the first glass was a bit strange to me, but my taste buds soon got used to it and from the second glass it went well with the food 😆.
It was really beautifully sharp and went well with the seafood without interfering with it. It's no wonder that a sake from Shimane doesn't go well with kaiseki at a hot spring hotel in Shimane 😋 Thank you very much for the meal.
After this, we were served "Oki Homare" and "Takamasamune" hot sake, but unfortunately I could not take a picture of the bottle labels because they were served with sake bottles. Both were classical in taste, and each was delicious in its own way. I would like to visit the Oki Islands: ❣️
