Hiran's Kijoshu. I asked at a sake shop what kind of sake they recommended to drink on the rocks, and they recommended this one. I had never had regular "Hiran" sake, so I bought this one along with the regular sake.
First of all, we drank it as it was. The aroma was not so strong. The taste is... very juicy and fruity. It tastes like ripe grapes.
Next, I had it on the rocks. Wow! A shocking taste that I haven't had in a long time. The taste is nicely rounded out and gives the impression that the ripe grapes have returned to being exquisite grapes ready to eat. It is the best.
Lastly, soda. This is also recommended by the liquor store. The aroma is best with soda. It also has a very elegant taste.
