In 2017, a farmer in Kumamoto Prefecture succeeded in reviving and cultivating from only 40 seed hulls, "Kumamoto's native Edo Higo rice, Hozasu.
The gaseous sensation that makes the cork fly open and the gorgeous aroma reminiscent of banana and pineapple are reminiscent of sparkling wine.
Simply put, it is so delicious. I wish I could drink it all the time.
