assassin bug (any insect of family Reduviidae)
I went to Saitama Prefecture during GW and made a pilgrimage to a production site. To begin with, there is no brewery tour or store, so I just looked around.
In a quiet residential area in Hasuda City, there is a corner like a little forest, and at the back of it, there is a building that looks like a town factory. It is hard to believe that it is a brewery. It looks austere. But the picture on the bottle is cute.
The strong smell of alcohol pokes your nose. Dry taste. Umami. It shows its full potential when heated. The aroma is calm and the taste is strong, but it is strangely refreshing when swallowed. I like the smell of maturity.
