I went on a sake brewery tour in Echizen City, Fukui Prefecture.
I bought a bottle of Junmai Daiginjo brewed with Gohyakumangoku, a locally grown sake rice.
I had only ever drunk Junmai Daiginjo with Yamadanishiki before, so I was surprised to find it had a completely different and refreshing taste.
