I wanted to try the nigorigo sake as well, so I went back in succession.
It is said to be an all-Iwate sake made from Iwate rice "Ginga" and original yeast.
The aroma is light. The texture is surprisingly thick.
The mouthfeel has the smoothness of rice, but it is very fine.
The rice is relatively dry.
Afterwards, a fresh flavor comes through to the nose.
It has a koji-like taste like amazake (sweet sake).
This is my favorite nigori.
