I've never had much luck with Hiroshima sake, but I'm hoping to meet some new people. Is Tachika a characteristic of the rice? Is it the yeast? The aroma is not so strong, but it is a bit of a "chemi" aroma. The taste has the fresh acidity and clear quality of Nakadori Nama-shu, with soft fruit flavors of muscat and lychee, and finishes crisply with a dry taste with a strong sense of alcohol in the latter half. It is perfect as a food sake and does not interfere with meals, but it is also delicious when drunk on its own 😋.
