Shigeke Shuzo is the only sake brewed by the only sake brewery in Iki City, Nagasaki Prefecture, which resumed sake making in 2018 after having stopped making sake for a while or something. The effort put into brewing sake for the first time in about 30 years must have been considerable. This sake brewery seems to have a bit of a muneatsu story.
My personal image was that there were many sweet sake in the lineup, but this time I dared to choose a dry sake. It is a dry sake that is not too sweet and can be drunk easily, but it has a good aroma and a fruity feeling. It has a fruity aroma. It is a bit like grapes and muscat with a moderate sweetness. It is a modern dry wine.
It is a type of sake that accompanies food without being assertive. It is good with sashimi and sushi. It is also good on the rocks.
