We received a summer jun from Mimuro Sugi, which is known for its variety of summer sake. The label also looks summery and delicious.
Perhaps it is because of the label, but the taste is a bit like light rum. It has a sweet but refreshing taste with a hint of melon. It has no bitterness and can be drunk easily.
Perhaps it would be delicious on the rocks. It might be good with rich sweet fruits like peaches.
