The other day, I went to an event called Kimitsu Jizake Festival. It is the same sake from Chiba, but is the water different between Uchibo and Sotobo? Is the rice different? Is it the way it is made?
The flavors are totally different. I am a fan of Kangiku (Sotobo), but I guess there are Uchibo fans as well.
Now comes the season of hiyaoroshi (new sake) and shinzake (new sake), the most delicious sake of the year. I am looking forward to it.
