From the moment the bottle is opened to the moment it enters the mouth, the overwhelming aroma of wooden vats is a unique characteristic. Melon and light banana aromas are in the air, and the full sweetness resonates firmly. There is virtually no bitterness. This is the first time I have tasted a sake with such a strong wood vat aroma, like a barrel sake. There is no doubt that it is delicious, but there is no need to fuss over it. The balance is perfect.
