It's been a long time since I've had Abe-san.
The aroma is modest at the same time as the bottle is opened, probably because it is fire-brewed.
When you put it in your mouth, it has a moderate sweetness followed by a strong acidity, and it goes down smoothly.
The juiciness of the sake is not so strong, probably due to the fire-roasting process.
It has a sweet and sour taste, as is typical of summer sake, and the sweetness is moderate for an abe.
No bitterness or sawdust smell is detected, making it a refreshing and tasty sake.
The label also states that it is best served with food, and it is perfect as a food sake, just as the label says.
It does not taste bitter while eating, and the sweetness is not too strong, making it a tasty sake.
The label says that it aims to be a sake that you never get tired of drinking, and indeed, it is easy to drink without getting tired of drinking.
The label runs from the front to the side and not on the back. I think this is a great improvement for the cost.
It is a wonderfully tasty sake, but I felt it lacked a bit of impact.
Still, Hiragana Abey-san is one of the most consistently delicious sakes and should be tried by sake beginners.
