This is a variant of the standard series Tsannen from Kikuchi Shuzo, the same brewery that produces my favorite Kimura-style miracle sake.
I can't find it on Kikuchi Shuzo's website, and I can't find it in the press release list. The old man at the liquor store where I go often gets this kind of brand...
The natural sweetness of Omachi comes from the polishing process. Afterwards, the spiciness of sake also comes through. I wonder if this is a characteristic of Tsannen?
The flavor is well conveyed.
