My younger brother who lives in Kyoto bought me this sake for New Year's Day.
Matsui Shuzo, the brewer of this sake, is the oldest brewery in Kyoto.
The sake is 35% polished rice, unfiltered and unfiltered, and the mouth is filled with a gorgeous, mellow sweetness. It was the perfect sake for New Year's, when the family can enjoy a little luxury together.
