Shichida, a sake from Ogi, Saga.
It is a junmai ginjo that is made only once, with no filtration at all.
I liked Saga Prefecture's Nabeshima, so I had high expectations for this one as well, but the taste was completely different. It is a heavy sake with a sharp taste.
I thought it would be better if it was heated up, but it was much heavier. Cold is the right choice.
