Perhaps it's because I've been eating a lot of sweet rice lately, but the smell of rice coming out of the bottle as soon as I open it makes me happy. I was so happy. It's not that I don't like sweet sake, but I prefer dry sake as I'm looking for a sake that can be enjoyed with food.
My first sake from Yamanashi. It was founded in 1750 during the Edo period, and is a long-established brewery. Yamanashi is a wonderful prefecture with a thriving wine industry.
