This is the first time for me to taste Viridian. The aroma is quite mild. There is a hint of citrus and lactic acidity. I'm not sure about the wood vat feeling. Gasiness is weak.
Sourness is strong. But it is more crisp than the last Stag Beer we drank. The sweetness is also well balanced.
The crisp acidity is short and sharp. The aftertaste is also acidic.
It is definitely sour, but it is very easy to drink with just the right amount of strength and duration. I am always impressed when I drink Shinsei after a long time. I'm impressed.
